I'm not new to the concepts around driving fast, but I'm a complete newbie in the world of real-life racing. I earn my living in a very theoretical type of work (financial quantitative analysis), so I'm hoping to balance that out with the hands-on nature of driving and working on my car. For now I'm just looking to get going in racing, so I'm in it to have fun, not to end up in front.
