* Times are an approximation (Weather and on-track issues can play havoc with a schedule, and sometimes officials might have to improvise to make sure everyone gets the most out of the event.)
We can't promise you a slot in the Novice group only because we usually don't know if there will be room in any group for wait-listed drivers until registration is almost over. (See schedule above.) Many times a run group will open as people cancel at the last minute due to work, car problems, etc., so we don't have much advance warning. Therefore, your odds of getting into any group from the wait list improve considerably if you're already at the track. (Even if there aren't enough open slots to get you into the group, you can always participate in the Track Touring Laps which are free. See Kathy Barnes comments below.) Hope this helps and we see you on Wednesday!
I am currently on the waitlist for the novice group. How long is the list and do you know the chances on being contacted to participate? Also, even without a slot, would it improve my chances to drive if I show up early incase there are any no shows? Last, is track insurance offered at the event?
Thanks!
I've been placed on the wait list for the novice group. How soon will I know if I've been accepted? Its a long drive so I'd like to know as soon as possible. Thanks.
