I have a question about the groups amd the cars allowed in each one. I have over 25 years racing experience on dirt and paved oval and some off-road racing experience. I am kind of new to road racing though. The car i would like to bring is a car that is beimg built as a Pro touring car. So has never been on a track yet. Would i be better to go in the novice group or the intermediate group based on the car being new to me?

Sounds like you want to bring a race car to a street car event.  You will need to sell that to Jack Track:  jack@tracknightinamerica.com

You can ask for a waiver here:  https://www.tracknightinamerica.com/pages/racecars

It is a street legal car. Infact it just passed inspection in December. It has been off the road for close to 2 years while rebuilding engine trans and doing rust repair. But its not a full built race car. Im asking what group i should register for as i am new to the road course stuff but many years racing experience of other types

You should go with intermediate. Just my humble opinion. Novice is to get used to the rules and passing safely.
